OK T-dub, I'm sure some of you have made new year's resolutions to get in shape, which is all well and good, but it's a hell of a lot easier to stay committed if you have a goal in mind. There is a sprint triathlon being held on 4/18 on centennial campus (750m swim, 10.5 mile bike, 5k run). Registration runs about $50. It's an attainable goal and should be both challenging and fun. Even if you don't want to do it why not volunteer, see what it's like and then shoot for the next event.https://fsseries.com/index.php?action=event&event_id=41

why the fuck would someone pay for something like that

It pays for shit like your timing chip, swim cap, barricades, the equipment for the transition area, etc.I mean, it's no 6 orders of general Tso's chicken, but it's still pretty cheap.

And you better hope that you don't have shit come up or the weather turn shitty. In which case you are paying $27.50 for nothing.

Thats the only drawback about early and late season tris, the weather could be damn chilly.
