Yeah I like to get fucked up and do fucked up shit, just like anyone else

My point is, those are two of the top ten actors in the world, IMO

Yet they constantly put out average movies...its perplexing

Look at Russell Crowe...great actor, and his movies are awesome too

^^^you didn't like Rounders? That movie is freakin' incredible. One of my favorites.

What about Fight Club or Death to Smoochy?

Eddy Norton is the best.

^you completely lost me when you said Clive Owen is one of the top 10 actors in the world.

Rounders and Death to Smoochy I like, but because of John Malkovich and Robin Williams, respectively

Pride and Glory, 25th Hour, Italian Job, The Illusionist, Hulk etc....all mediocre

Fight Club was an average movie that has become extremely overrated in the past 10 years

American History X was one good scene and 90 minutes of filler

says the guy who thinks Paul Walker is a better actor than Robert Deniro

I just heard the 25th Hour had some really unexpected ending, and I generally like movies like that (at least the first time)

Ed Norton has done some really good movies:

- American History X
- The Painted Veil
- 25th Hour
- Fight Club
- Rounders
- The Score (worst on this list)
- Primal Fear (he was AWESOME in this movie)

I didn't just make it up, I made it up based on the fact that you were watching a Paul Walker movie and then you said Deniro isn't a good actor anymore

^you can't afford netflix or a blockbuster account? eh?

the wire is probably the single greatest drama show ever. better than the sopranos. better than dexter. better than just about anything I can think of.

I will say that Deniro has been in a steady decline for the last 15 years

His last good dramatic performance was Ronin

aside from Righteous Kill what great dramatic movies has he even been in since Ronin?

btw he will be in Machete so we'll see what kind of bad ass he is in that

My point exactly, he hasn't been in any great movies since Ronin, because he's fallen of as an actor

and Righteous Kill was terrible by the way

Its not his fault...the man is nearly 70 years old, so some regression is to be expected

He was great in the 70's and 90's, but kind of had a career slump in the 80's

I was planning on throwing Raging Bull and Goodfellas in your face, but it looks like RB was 1980 and GF was 1990, so I guess your point still stands.

you're hating on Righteous Kill way too much...given the fact that it started Deniro and Pacino, could it have been better? Absolutely.

But the first 45 minutes or hour of Righteous Kill were non stop action / drama with two of the best actors of all time.

OF ALL TIME

Best acting jobs in Righteous Kill, determined solely by their performances in that movie

1. Donnie Walhberg
2. John Leguizamo
3. Brian Dennehy
4. 50 Cent
5. Deniro
6. Pacino

The very definition of ""mailing it in"
