my boss pulled me aside once after i'd been here about 3 months and told me that capris (even the khaki ones) were considered "casual" and that they could only be worn on fridays. but he didn't make me go home and change. he just said "only wear them on friday from now on".

The other day I decided to go with distressed black leather for my belt and shoes. On the way out the door I grabbed my brown leather coat. Got halfway to work and realized my mistake. Fortunately I was able to find the strength and fortitude to carry on. I know you're all concerned, so I'll go ahead and say that I made it into the office without being seen. What a relief.
