If you turn onto the road that the lake park apt. complex is on, coming from avent ferry, there's a really steep road. It will be the first road on your right once you turn in (i think). Either way, itll be on your left and its steep as can be. I sledded down it like 5 years ago or whatever...it was fast.

Be careful though. I hear lake park is sketchy

I lived up that hill when we had a big snow back in 2002/03. I had to park at the bottom of that hill. It was a bitch to get up, too.

before the court of carolinas had the stairs, that was a great spot.

I went with a bunch of friends to the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Centennial last January... but it was still in construction. They'll probably be making sure no one is out there this weekend. It was a good time, several nice long steep hills.

There is a HUGE hill on a road in between Crest Rd. and Gorman. I think the road is called Burt Drive. We used to sled down it and never had any traffic issues.

i grew up within walking distance of bond park. So much fun such a bitch to get up. PLus it never failed you were either gonna hit a man whole or you were gonna get airborne because of it. Good memories.

^^^^lake johnson dam is too overgrown to do that.

clarion heights driveway is a good place. though you may want some traffic control on craborchard rd

the hill on university court would be decent as well, though traffic control may be needed again.

I'm really tempted to get some ppl together and hit that huge mountain of dirt next to the vet school. The stoppage area would be minimal but there is a fence. Trespassing galore?

I was thinking this would be a good spot. I drove past it today and there are some EPIC hills.

if you're ON campus, then that hill between Bostian (i think) and the Atrium is decent

the brickyard has some contours to it near Cox that can be fun depending on what you're sledding on (wheel-less skateboard deck, Fountain trays, etc)

Word is they are putting a campus policeman out at the golf course as early as 8 am tomorrow so no one goes and damages the course.
