it's a joke.

people always buy milk and bread when snow storms come around. leading one to believe they are making a milk sandwich.

The bread for sandwiches (don't require power to make) and the milk? I have no idea - it's got to be a scam because you can't keep it cold unless you leave it outside where it freezes with no juice

I bought milk and bread, because I was out of bread, and low on milk, and didn't want to have to worry about driving around on saturday or sunday to buy more.

With milk, I can make tea or coffee (my favorite beverages) and cereal. With bread, I can make PB&J or egg/cheese sandwiches

I also bought steak and eggs, a single russell potato, and a clove of garlic.

The store near me was sold out of bananas. Bananas are not a cold-weather staple!

Yeah I really thought produce departments missed out on the fun of bad weather, but I know many stores were out of bananas yesterday. Who knew...

Not just bananas either--this morning there was a serious hurting put on the berry section.
