Only in Sweet Tomatoes' universe, February doesn't start til Wednesday!

So just so you guys know, Sweet Tomatoes is two days behind on the monthly promo, but the only thing they pre-warn you about is the absence of mushroom soup. It has something to do with being closed for the snow.

Usually I really like Sweet Tomatoes, and they're good about warning you with a little note on the door if, say, the ice cream machine is broken. So why wouldn't they mention this mix-up? I don't know. The manager was pretty unrepentant about it when I asked.

^Yes! I realized "Oh hey, it's February 1, I don't have school, POTATO MONTH HERE I COME," went through the line and paid, and then walked over to where the soups are (and where potato soup WAS NOT). The manager was like "Yeah we're two days behind on the promo." Didn't even say sorry; didn't explain why it wasn't posted. It just seems like a poor business practice to have all of the "starts February 1" materials around and to have it on the website, and have no warning once you arrive.

Sweet Tomatoes is the best soup/salad/pasta bar evar. It's a vegetarian's dream.

I, however, like to get big bowls of chicken noodle soup from there. I pick out the chicken and put it on top of my salad.
