Alright, I am definitely not at a point in my life where I am paying a mortgage or anything but why is everyone so against a tax increase? I mean it seems as though people would have a conniption if the govt. raised taxes by 25 cents. I'm paying for school/bills by working and I think that I could withstand an extra percent or two. Everyone always wants more for less but how far can that go?

My complaint is with the insanity of the tax system. If we need an entire section of the library for tax code something is horribly, horribly wrong. I'm not saying flat tax is the way to go, but we should man-up and go flat tax for 1 quarter, then see whats working and not working - essentially a BS reset button.
