I'm not sure that the pizza market, as large as it is at colleges, could support yet another pizza restaurant on Hillsborough.

I like the idea from the Lounge thread. Get Greg Hatem of Empire Eats to open something there. All of his ventures are insanely popular -- The Pit, Raleigh Times, Morning Times, Duck & Dumpling, Sitti, and Gravy

Yeah, Hooter's wouldn't work out there. Shit's way too expensive for college students and plenty of bars have bartenders showing a lot more skin than those outdated Hooter's outfits.

Hooters is pretty smart on choosing locations. Fayetteville, Jacksonville and Morehead City get the military business. Raleigh Airport is one of the few non-fast food places near the airport and stays busy. Greensboro gets busy with whatever is going on in the Coliseum.

I don't know of any Hooters location that was chosen because it was close to a college campus.

I have it on good authority that it will be the location for Tyler's Taproom.

They were going to move into Seaboard but instead made a deal with the and are getting much lower rent at that location and the space fits what they need. Plus they have to do less renovations there than at the old capital city grocery.
