duvet/comforter in the winterquilt in the summer

Comforter for much of the year, sheet when it's really hot.I don't have a huge preference for comforters over blankets, it's just that for some reason or another a comforter has always been what I got for free from home.
2/9/2010 12:03:36 AM
i sleep in dollar bills

sheet+light quilt+comforter+backup quilt on my feet.House ~68* Sadly this only works in the winter when the cooling is on the cheap
2/9/2010 12:09:32 AM
conforter all year long....unless I'm at Lutheridge, then it's a sleeping bag all summer, however most nights I'm sleeping on top of the sleeping bag with just a blanket over me...but when I'm not at Lutheridge, it's a comforter.

all of them. I'm always cold.current setup is jersey sheet, regular comforter, fleece blanket, and down comforter on top. sometimes I wrap a blanket around my head, too.[Edited on February 9, 2010 at 12:13 AM. Reason : and I keep the house at 68]
2/9/2010 12:12:07 AM
In the summer, just the duvet. When it's cold like this, the duvet, a sheet, and a blanket.
2/9/2010 12:12:54 AM
When I'm depressed, yes.
2/9/2010 1:06:01 AM
right now I have sheets, a fleece blanket, a feather comforter, a non feather comforter ( my actual bedding) then another blanket on top. yes I am in San Diego but it gets chilly at night and we never put on the heater. so I love being cozy.[Edited on February 9, 2010 at 1:28 AM. Reason : s]
2/9/2010 1:27:47 AM
yes and blankets
2/9/2010 1:28:13 AM
i keep my house 75 year round so its never cold or hot in my place but i do keep a blanket because your body gets cold while you're sleeping. i really dont understand the whole way people keep it freezing in the summer and blazing in the winter.
2/9/2010 1:30:20 AM
75 seems too extreme
2/9/2010 1:31:05 AM
I use a down comforter in combination with what was described to me as a thermal blanket. In the summer I usually just sleep on the comforter since it's crazy soft.
2/9/2010 1:32:50 AM
duvet because I'm Scandinavian.
2/9/2010 1:37:04 AM
ya lots of people tell me 75 seems extreme but those same people also live in hoodies and loads of quailts while in their home all winter
2/9/2010 1:38:58 AM
they probably save a shitload of electricity and part of the environment, too
2/9/2010 1:41:58 AM
Is this the parody thread, or does that have to be made yet?
