Was surprised that we got the day off... then I noticed they took a day away from Christmas break to make up for it. I'd rather have that one back. Of course they'll make that day they took away from Christmas break a required vacation day to reduce everyone's accumulated vacation. It makes their balance sheet come out a certain way at eoy.

maybe. my whole point is equallity...that is what is taught/preached everyday. i could care less if the schools are closed or not, or what business is closed or when it's closed, but who decided that honoring presidents will be less prestigious than one man that was a great speaker? and in no way am i referring to GW Bush, or any president in the past 20 years.

so you STFU. read it outloud. see how childish and uneducated it sounds?
