so my sister has a baby, 11 months
i just learned that if you keep taking things away from a baby that it wants then he will learn that parents say no to things that it wants, and perhaps that what his parents say no to is what it wants
hence it will grow into a rebellious kid or teen doing the opposite of everything its parents tell it to do

i should write a book

having an 11.5 month old daughter, i must admit i have learnt more about human nature and behaviour from observing her and interacting with her than i have interacting with and observing thousands of people until now.

it is lots of fun (and tiring, and frustrating at times) and very illuminating.

they know and understand so much at that age, it is shocking.
