For once, I'd like to see businesses throw down the puritan shackles they assume that they must wear in order to engage in their business. This ain't 1950, folks.

What if Woods just said, "Yeah, I did it. I'd do it again. Mind your own fucking business." Then he gets dropped by the current puritan-bullshit sponsors, because they assume most of America will not tolerate tolerating his private actions. Then Larry Flint, or someone similar, steps up and makes their own professional golf association (and other sports?) to compete with the bullshit-puritan one we have now. Then: if you want to watch the best athletes compete, you watch the Larry Flint sports productions, and tolerate or downright ignore the players private lives. Or, if you want to watch the best athletes that comply with century old social standards, you watch the current bullshit we have now.
