after all ends completed, start from center and move out in radius. scoring starts with first stone, and continues until an opposing stone is reached.

the team with a stone closer to the center at the end of an end gets one point for each stone closer to the center of the rings (the button) than the other teams stones.

Sooo I noticed after about 3 of 4 days of men's curling, the men's USA team got a new guy: dark hair with earings. Chris Plys... pretty cute if you ask me... But is/was this John Shuster's replacement?

PS: I haven't been paying enough attention to the Olympics to fully understand what this deal is..

Still... pretty cute... not so sure how i feel about the earings... LOL

he was the alternate, at least that is what they called him during the Real Sports segment a couple of weeks ago


it was actually a pretty funny segment- the guy came in and saw them chowing down on some McD's and asked them if that was part of their training regime- they said yeah, that and plenty of beer!

they interviewed him on NBC the other night too. The guys is a complete stoner and came close to all but admitting it saying he was really into the "alt. lifestyle" growing up and curling fit right in.
