Well then, I actually read the link here first so I'll comment on it.

I think it's just plain dumb to suspend the student for that. I mean I guess that a noose can have negative connotations, especially during Black history month, but it's not like she tried to use it on someone.

Also, the rally against it is dumb too. Being scared for your life because of an unused noose just makes you look like a pussy.
