I know it's illegal to hunt inside of the city limits and all of that, but these damn deer are becoming a nuisance for traffic and are driving my dog crazy. is it illegal to bow hunt in the city?

(yes, i know it's not hunting season right now.)

We used to have a ton of deer that could come in our yard at night. Knocking over the mailbox... eating the bark off of the trees, and just generally being assholes.

Laying down blood meal seemed to have done the trick. They'll avoid that for the most part.

one day, I even came home from work, and there was a goddamn deer on my front porch, just laying down. when I parked my car, got out, and started walking towards the door, the deer took notice. it was only then that he stood up, took a nice stretch, and then casually walked off...

You've obviously never been in a situation where deer were a problem to you. My uncles are farmers and have huge problems with deer destroying their crop(which happens to be fir trees) They wreck my grandads garden, and are just a general nuisance.

I am aware that unbridled deer populations can cause complications not only to us but to their own sustainability thanks to a dwindling habitat. Perhaps their numbers would be better maintained had humans not eradicated their natural predators out of fear and ignorance or, once again, sheer convenience and bloodlust.
