just imagine the following situation...(words coming)

so just now i was down in the basement doing the laundry and realized i needed to throw some extra things in the dryer. so i opened the door (like you normally would) to stop it mid drying cycle...only to find that because my apt complex is so shitty the dryer is broken/possessed and just keeps spinning wildly.

underwear is not just rolling out, it is somehow being projectiled directly out of the middle all over the laundry room. so i am frantically trying to get everything back in but it is like trying to get 20 snakes back in a bucket. needless to say i mostly succeeded, however there is a pair of my underwear half hanging out of the door but slammed in it.
