didn't stephen king write the book(s) (was not aware there was more than 1)?

^stephen king indeed. it was a 6 part series (just one story but in 6 volumes)...the movie is all of them together, which is why it is forever longbut this is one of those movies where it is ok to be forever long because there's really nothing else you can remove from itThe Two Dead GirlsThe Mouse on the MileCoffey's HandsThe Bad Death of Eduard DelacroixNight JourneyCoffey on the Mile[Edited on March 6, 2010 at 2:06 AM. stephen king doesn't know how to write anything short. i read the stand about 6 months ago because i knew the creators of lost cited it as a huge reference, and i could only find the uncut version, which included an extra 400 pages that were omitted from the original, bringing the book up to almost 1200 pages.
