My stache doesn't connect to my beard.

you will never know the true potential of your beard unless you persevere. A scraggly homeless beard can be given a buffer of a few weeks to grow and be trimmed and create the rugged look you are after. It's just like growing your head of hair out. a month of looking like a goon to get the style you want. 2 weeks of itching and scraggliness for a sweet beard.

do not shave.
