You have so many beers to choose from. Fruity beers, Belgians, Lagers, IPAs, high gravity beers, Hefeweizens...the list is endless. This Pyramid Apricot Ale is dedicated to YOU.

not to mention the wine selection...
3/7/2010 11:18:54 PM
agreed
3/7/2010 11:20:52 PM
If you think Total Wine has a great beer selection then Sam's Blue Light would blow your mind.
3/7/2010 11:21:01 PM
Yeah, that actually makes me giggle bdmazur. Because I hate wine but I'll totally go there and create 2 or 3 of the Make Your Own 6-packs. That's what I did on Friday, when I came home with all sorts of fruity beers.
3/7/2010 11:22:32 PM
Do you guys have bevmo?
3/7/2010 11:27:33 PM
is that a beer or a store?
3/7/2010 11:27:51 PM
3/7/2010 11:29:08 PM
there are a lot of places with a much better beer selection than total wine.some of these places are gas stations.
3/7/2010 11:29:09 PM
http://www.bevmo.com/All their wine is buy one get one for 5 cents now. Its a nice store.
3/7/2010 11:29:41 PM
^^you've gotta be kidding methere are quite possibly over 150 different beers in Total Wine
3/7/2010 11:31:04 PM
haha @ BevMo in north carolinawe're not nearly lucky enough to have a BevMo....or a private-run wine/beer/liquor store for that matter
3/7/2010 11:33:37 PM
did not know, but ya i do love being able to buy liquor in a grocery store and not have to go to the abc store.
3/7/2010 11:35:23 PM
Haha[Edited on March 7, 2010 at 11:37 PM. Reason : oops]
3/7/2010 11:36:58 PM
^^^^College BeveragePeace Street MarketTeam Beverage (gas station)Tyler's Bottle ShopAnd, the best beer store in the Triangle, probably in NC: Sam's Quik Shop in durham.[Edited on March 7, 2010 at 11:37 PM. Reason : .]
3/7/2010 11:37:18 PM
do any of those places allow you to buy individual beers and make your own 6pack? cuz that's the most appealing thing to me at Total Wine.
3/7/2010 11:39:30 PM
yes, and you are not limited to 6.you can make any integer based pack your liver desires.
3/7/2010 11:41:28 PM
well yeah, it's the same way at Total Wine. every individual beer has a price. you pick whatever you want.no offense, but i don't see a gas station having the expansive selection that Total Wine has ]
3/7/2010 11:43:33 PM
^^32 or 64 bit?I went to peace street market when i was a few weeks past 21. Guy told me I was 6' and not 5'11" like my license stated. Kind of...odd. First and last time anyone has ever noticed it being wrong.[Edited on March 7, 2010 at 11:44 PM. Reason : .]
3/7/2010 11:44:06 PM
3/7/2010 11:44:36 PM
I'll say it. I had my doubts as well. Sounds like a good place to go.
3/7/2010 11:47:29 PM
3/7/2010 11:48:26 PM
Team Beverage may be able to compete with total wine, but Peace Street and College Beverage most certainly do not. They have more variety of malt liquor, but that's about it.[Edited on March 7, 2010 at 11:50 PM. Reason : ^total wine has more floor space dedicated to beer than peace street has in its entirety]
3/7/2010 11:48:59 PM
3/7/2010 11:49:20 PM
I'm going to agree on peace street being lacking. It is really good for a conv. store dont get me wrong. I just dont think it is as good as TW. Every visit over to peace street also helps the clutch industry out.^I actually F'd up getting my new one. Guy says "Does an inch really make a difference?" . hahahahaahahah[Edited on March 7, 2010 at 11:51 PM. Reason : [yes]]
3/7/2010 11:50:39 PM
The only reason to go to Peace Street is for the entertainment value of being told your license is fake by a cashier that appears to be in the country on an expired student visa.
3/7/2010 11:53:47 PM
hahhahahaha
3/7/2010 11:54:18 PM
3/7/2010 11:54:39 PM
Sam's Quik Shop is fucking incredible.Total Wine's beer selection is severely lacking for an alcohol-specific store. I always go to Peace Street. ]
3/7/2010 11:56:16 PM
Well, I always go to Total Wine. Guess that's something we don't have in common.Oh well.

3/8/2010 12:00:49 AM
they need half an aisle of malt liquor and the entire line of MD20/20 flavors to have the best selection.
3/8/2010 12:03:22 AM
AA
3/8/2010 12:06:24 AM
I love total wine for the wine.
3/8/2010 12:12:04 AM
Peace St. Market has the best beer selection in Raleigh. As far as wine goes, having more quantity doesn't mean it's a better selection. I'll take my wine store against Total in a fuckin Pepsi challenge any day of the week. If you're going to Total to buy loss leaders, you're getting a good deal; if it's one of their "house brands," you're paying WAAAY too much.
3/8/2010 12:21:16 AM
3/8/2010 12:22:23 AM
total wine is alright but like 50% percent of their shit is beyond expirationand tw might have more quantity, but I've found better quality at peace street every timesam's ftw though
3/8/2010 12:25:02 AM
so basically eleusis has been to peace street market onceand he paid more attention to the cashier than the beer selection because he's a fucking faggot
3/8/2010 12:27:59 AM
3/8/2010 12:28:50 AM
i love how everyone on TWW posts their opinion as though it's the end-all-be-all of opinionsopinions are like assholes ya'lland i like Total Wine's beer selectioni'm not inferior to any of you faggots simply because i like Total Winebut it's OK if you wanna think i'm in an inferior faggot who doesn't know any better

seriously ya'll, up until a month ago, i was a strictly Miller Lite girl. that's all i ever drank. the fact that i'm even branching out and buying something other than Miller Lite should result in a pat-on-the-back.
3/8/2010 12:34:19 AM
every time I've been to Peace Street or 6-twelve, I've had to dust off the bottles before I drank them. any argument about total wine having expired merchandise is just ignorant babble from people who want to knock a chain store.
