^^ Truth. Once I couldn't get past the Octopus, I gave up. However, I owned Ecco 2.

^ Mayhaps. I thought they had small feet, so that their feet would be easier to rub.

The only G-rated film to win an Oscar was Oliver! in 1968.

In a game known as the "Easter Epic", Kelly Hrudey made 73 saves in a 3-2 NY Islanders win over the Washington Capitals on April 18, 1987. That game went into four OTs.

I always thought this was interesting:

Quote :
"Main Entry: fac·toid
Pronunciation: \'fak-?t?id\
Function: noun
Date: 1973
1 : an invented fact believed to be true because of its appearance in print
2 : a briefly stated and usually trivial fact"

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/factoid

I remember 321 Contact magazine always had a collection of factoids in its issues. The only one I remember -- because it seemed absolutely ridiculous to see in print -- was, "In prehistoric times, dinosaurs burped and farted."

Most people believe that the original opening lyric to "One Shining Moment" is "The ball is kicked", since it was originally to be used for the Super Bowl in 1987. However, the original lyric is "The gun goes off" and the song was inspired by Larry Bird and Indiana State.

Even though "The Brady Bunch" stayed on for five seasons, it never was a ratings hit. The highest it ever got was number 34 in the Nielsens, but stayed on the air due to its popularity among children.
