Jim Carey kicking Owen Wilson's ass in the bathroom scene. The basketball scene. Porno password scene."Oh Billy."Funny social commentary. Sam Sweet Trial. That guy, was that Kyle Gass?, picking up the book at the end with such awe and wonder.Ben Stiller directed it. Judd Apatow wrote it.

That movie sucked monkey balls! B/c the premise of someone being that god-damn annoying bc they are lonely and too much of a douche bag for real friends should NEVER be the sole point of a 2 hour movie with bad acting!! Its the only movie i've ever wanted my $7 back within 10 min of watching the movie!!

On the assumption that it is, I've never watched it. I've never been led to believe that was a bad decision.

i've never been a fan of jim carrey's work, and i will probably never devote 2 hours of my life to watching this movie.eternal sunshine of the spotless mind was alright, although i can't remember anything that happened in it. i just remember thinking it wasn't bad.

I love this movie for all the reasons screentest stated. I am a big fan of Jim Carrey too. Especially the early stuff. His lisp is pretty funny throughout the movie. The karaoke scene was funny too.

Definitely one of my favorite underrated Jim Carrey movies. A lot of quotable lines, memorable scenes, and great pop culture references. Own the DVD and get reeled in watching it whenever it's on TV. Also has glimpses of some big names before they really emerged: Jack Black(and Kyle Gass), Owen Wilson, Leslie Mann, and it was one of Judd Apatow's first production jobs. I don't list Ben Stiller there because he had already established himself.

People were trying to tell me that this movie was as bad as Waterworld last night, lol. I don't think its the greatest movie of all time or anything but I thought it was funny and entertaining in a dark sense. Screentest pretty much summed up how I feel.
