I remember my Master's defense well. I spent the two weeks before my defense making sure my committee understood my thesis and answering their questions. All that work paid off. The closed-door part of my defense lasted less than 15 minutes since I had addressed any issues they had in the previous days. I hope my PhD defense this August goes as well.
