I just heard this on the noon news. This is a good thing. I still am amazed that I never had my ankles broken by the skateboarders and bike riders that came out of no where and zipped past me as I walked down the sidewalk. I did almost close line a girl on a bike one time when I stepped to my left to talk to a friend who was passing me on the sidewalk.

I've had far more issues with bicycles than skateboards. Bicycles are a lot faster too honestly.
