so anyways, i'm back, and would like to take this opportunity to address any concerns you might have about the egg hunt

first, obviously i turned up the egg generation frequency - hence the large egg counts. i figured people would rather get more eggs than less eggs, so that's that

second, people often suspect during the egg hunt that there are ways to cheat, or that at the least, the egg assignment code assigns eggs to some people more than others. i'm heavily logging the egg hunt, so i will be able to analyze the results afterwards for anomalous behavior, and make improvements for next year

third, a few people lost eggs during the earlier crashes, and they will be credited as soon as i get a chance to add them back in

So I got an egg and when I clicked it, the captcha page was almost completely obscured by a HUGE giant egg that covered 3/4 of the page.

What to do, I thought?

If I click the egg, I lose the captcha. If I enter the captcha, I lose the egg.

I like how every year there's like 20 people that think they're the first person that thinks of this. I suppose that's slightly better than the people that can't figure it out. But only slightly.
