btw I don't have a drug addiction, I have a chronic pain problem. The minute I find a fix to my neck problem that isn't a narcotic, I will go off opiates/benzos as soon as possible. This due to Electrical Engineering being impossible on these class of drugs.

I'm sure it started off as a chronic pain problem, but the fact that you seem to think that if you were to get your neck fixed that you would be able to just give up drugs like it was nothing, is fucking laughable.

I'm going to use the example of House. I know, it's only a fucking TV show, but the character is a good example. He suffered from chronic pain, and used medication to control it, much like you presumably do. He was still addicted to drugs. Just because you don't use them just for pleasure, doesn't mean that you're not addicted.

He never did find a fix for the chronic pain that lasted, but he was able to give up drugs and manage his pain without them.

I have been on and off of opiates for 3 years. I tried to deal with the pain without narcotics and until you are in my shoes shut the fuck up. Most of my threads/posts are jokes and you guys dig way too deep into something in Chit Chat.

Most people on tww put off a persona, BlackDog is only putting off a portion of who he is. He has had all these pain problems for a long time...I remember in high school him having surgery and shit on his shoulders.

But yeah, we have pretty much been side by side since 6th grade (literally because our names in school were beside each other)...if he had a drug problem I would know and he doesn't have one.

He does know what the fuck he is talking about though when it comes to drugs and meds, so if you need advice ask him.
