I like to drive as erratically as possible when I hit the road these days. Usually I try to pee out the window on passing cars, and when they yell at me I set their passengers on fire with my mind.

I always tailgate and flash my high beams at people.

Look bitch. You knew I was going way way faster than you. It wouldn't have been a problem if you:
a. Got in front of me and sped up to the speed of all the other traffic in our lane.
b. Waited 10 seconds until I passed you and you could get in behind me and lolligag as much as you wanted. I mean, there was only like 1/4 mile between me and the car behind me.

^^^^ 2-3 car lengths is a safe distance for him to be behind me. That is why I didn't do it when he was 1 car length behind me. I merged at the appropriate time, giving him plenty of room for me to go in front of him. From your argument, I shouldn't make a lane change EVER, because someone might be x amount of car lengths behind me.

The guy was aware of my intention, I checked my blind spot, and I smoothly changed lanes. The guy was just pissed that he might have had to adjust his speed (and as I said, I would have sped up had he not flashed me). He thought he was king of the fuckin' road. I've had plenty of slower vehicle get in front of me. The have as much right as any one of us to pass a slower car.

Well just so you know, it annoys the fuck out of me when someone pulls in front of me to pass a car and it causes me to slow down. Granted I would only flash my high beams at them if they were getting too close to me and I needed to get their attention, but still, yeah if I'm on cruise control and someone decides they don't want to wait for me to pass them so they can pass a car, and pull out in front of me and cause me to slow down so they can pass, then yes, it is slightly annoying.

However, on the flip side, when I'm in the right lane and I want to pass someone it annoys the shit out of me when I'm ready to pass and there is someone coming up beside me in the left lane that are just creeping past me so I end up having to wait for them to pass me so I can go on my way. However, most the time, I will just speed up and pass the car in the right so that the person in the left lane doesn't have to slow down for me and we will all be happy.

I just don't get the point of road rage...I mean yeah I do it too, but not to the extent of riding someone's ass and flashing my lights at them...it's more of me just yelling at myself in my car "WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU PULLING OUT IN FRONT OF ME??!?!" or "OMGAH WOULD YOU JUST GOOOOOO!"
