I agree with this topic.

I didn't know who sang this song and just assumed it was a 90's song when I heard it on guitar hero.

Then I heard the song on that midnight special infomercial that comes on after SNL and was like WTF when did this come out?

i don't understand what's "ahead of its time" about it

it's very similar to many other glam-influenced pop songs of the time

I've loved that song for years.

Conan played that during his big montage when he moved to the west coast. It actually depresses me a bit now.
