I don't have personal experience with TWC PLG, but they are a competitor of mine so I have heard tons of horror stories from customers that have left them to come to me.

My recent experience with TWC went like this.

I wanted NESN to watch the Red Sox games on their home network. They said they weren't planning on offering it. I bought MLB Extra Innings. A week after I call them I find out through someone on TWW that NESN was soon to be offered on TWC. I call them and after complaining I get NESN on my bill and Extra Innings off. Then NESN shows everything, but Sox games and then TWC pulls NESN 5 days after first putting it on because negotiations weren't finished. In conclusion, I hate TWC.

Back when we lived at an apartment in Cary, we sent in our payments to TWC every month with the same bank account w/ no problem. Anyway, one month we sent the payment and then a few weeks later we get this nasty letter saying that we need to pay our balance because we didn't make the last payment.

My husband and I spent hours on the phone w/ them. Conference calls with TWC and our bank saying that we paid the bill, etc and we were getting nowhere.

Joe's mom came over for dinner and we started bitching about it and she said... You know, that's kind of funny. I didn't have to pay my last month's bill because of a credit on my account....

So I called them the next day w/ her account number and said... "Did you happen to apply this payment to the wrong account?" and of course they did. She has a completely different phone number, account numbers, address, city, name, etc. They just looked at the first last name in the system and applied it to that. They are idiots.

Yea as soon as our Time Warner subscription is up in March of 2011 we are ditching time warner so god-damn fast!!
