Pa. university to give all students iPads

This is just like a premium in a ceral box. They're giving these things away to get people to register (full time) to get an iPad. Then when the reality distortion field wears off people realize they've spent too much money on tuition just to get an iPad that's not worth shit.

Back in my day we had to manually write down notes and ideas by hand with a disposable imaging stylus on stacks of bound paper. There were basically two different stylus types, one which produced temporary imaging and the other produced a more permanent image. Although relatively inexpensive, we had to supply our own paper bindings and styluses (styli?), as the university never supplied such material.

In order to find additional information outside of class, we had to procure professionally written and bound papers called books. Often times we would spend hours, if not days, in a central repository of books shuffling through countless pages in search of further enrichment.

In addition, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. Give me five bees for a quarter you'd say.
