Really the only breakthrough thing in that we have learned is that it has a forward facing camera.......and a flash. My phone had a flash in 2003 not sure why it took apple so long to include one but the forward facing camera is neat and you can bet you will start seeing it on android phones very soon.

Honestly, I think publishing his name may be saving his job. It serves to show that he didn't intentionally leak the phone, which would have certainly gotten him fired, and possibly resulted in a lawsuit from violating NDA. I think by detailing the events of how they got the phone, they're basically putting apple in a position that would result in a PR nightmare if Gray got fired for what's ultimately an honest mistake.
