Honestly I like to eat tomatoes with a little salt. Also there's tomato sammiches, BLTs, salads, salsa, etc.

I usually sub fresh tomatoes for the paste in this recipe and cut back on chicken broth.

That looks extremely good.

We're going to have a lot of tomatoes this year as long as they come in like they have in the past. I love home grown TOMATE son!

For salads and salsas it'd be ok, I guess, but don't do BLTs, tomato sammiches or eat plain tomatoes if they were bought at a grocery store.

Only farmer's market/home grown for those purposes, son.

why the hell would anyone buy 6 pounds of store-bought tomatoes red lumps?

since living in an apartment is not conducive to gardening, i can't wait to raid my dad's garden this summer
