I always found it funny how it was blasphemous to create or publish a likeness of the prophet Muhammad, but there was no problem naming every male muslim child after the prophet Muhammad.

Christianity is sort of the opposite. Other than in Mexico, it's generally frowned upon to name your kid Jesus, but likenesses of Jesus are probably a billion dollar industry worldwide.
