got a call from US bank last week...apparently, my card number was stolen and a dozen small (like ~$5 purchases) were made online...they picked up on it and only one went through...they called me to verify, refunded the one transaction, and canceled the card

i also had one of the place (some online video workout site?) call me to verify the purchase and gave me the email address and phone number that was provided (the person had used my correct mailing address)

my cc # was stolen in jamaica... they got through a $1,500 purchase... then tried to charge $95,000 on my card... credit card figured that one out pretty quick

deemarie works at my bank and checked my account for something and saw them up there. called me up and was like "wtf mate?"

got it all refunded though

Once I got Eric to go into Ulta with me and he ended buying some new cologne... His bank called him because they thought his card was stolen since it's a chick store I LOL'd... especially when he explained, "Uhh no, I really did buy something there.."
