A link on my watch band broke last week, and I really need to get it fixed today before some meetings I have tomorrow. Is there a jewelry store at Cary Towne Center that repairs watches? The watch is a Bulova, if that matters.

I mention Cary Towne Center because it is close to work and I figure I could go there on my lunch break and hit up the food court in one stop.

I doubt it; all the good watch repairmen are German or Swiss.

at the very least, you can hit up jared's. i know that they do that kind of thing. but i'm sure there are other stores in the actual mall that'll do it for you.

any jewelry stores that sell your brand should be able to do band work

most bands need adjusting when purchased anyways, and you likely have a few spare links from the initial adjustment

or at least, i keep all my spare links in case i get fat or one breaks and they'll just adjust the bands

is that watch place still right outside of EBGames? near SunCoast and stuff.. They did mine for free a long time ago, if they're still there it's probably a good place..

I'll do it for you at Belk's Crabtree fine jewelry since I will be there today, if you have your other links.

I don't think the link is broken; just one of the pins where the band attaches to the frame. Hopefully it is a standard pin type, but I've never seen one like it before.

Hit up the Dakota Watch kiosk near Macy's. They're the only place I've ever had a watch repaired and have always done a good job for pretty cheap.

There's a watch repair store in the Sears at Cary Towne across from their vision center. I was just in there the other day getting a battery replaced.

I worked at Dakota Watch Company like 10 years ago. Depending on the pin, they might be able to help you out, but they don't stock Bulova replacement parts.
