i know right. i'm actually most likely going to hold out for a few years and enjoy the benefits of no payment, but it might be fun to throw some money away on a new transport

seriously, an Evora. It has back seats for the kid, dog and groceries. It gets 30+ mpg. It looks like sex. It's a smooth, quiet ride. It's lightning fast.

30+ miles per imperial gallon

Still a sweet car, though. I'm sure I'll see a few out here in LA at some point.

I'm actually looking at snagging a subaru legacy. With the 2.5 and the CVT you can get 31mpg highway. You can also opt for the much larger, more powerful engine and have a very fun car that's still safe and practical.

yeah, get a legacy gt

fun to drive, tons of room, easy to fix

the only problem is that you have to get OEM parts for a lot of stuff, which will cost more than normal sourcing channels you'd use for a honda or toyota

I am currently in the market for a new (to me) truck

my budget is $5500-6k

i require:
-extended or crew cab
-full size bed
-4x4
-v8
-tow package

i'd prefer:
-manual trans.
-tool box
-easily removable camper shell
-~3" lift, tires/wheels to match

i'd like:
-flowmasters/straight pipes
-bedrails
-running board/rail
-dark color
-premium sound

any information leading to the capture of such a vehicle will be compensated in one free hauling of the object or objects of your choice

#1

or

#2

Both less than 50K miles, less than $15K. Whatever you do, why not save up and pay cash? If you're figuring $400/month for a payment you could save for around 2.5 years, then when you pull out your duffle full of benjamins they'll come down off that price.

Probably 911 or M3.

Maybe a Boxster or 135i...or a Corvette...or maybe an Elise.

Then there's a 3rd tier or a couple dozen cars that I'd buy if I found a killer deal...but I have a thing for fast German stuff.

[Edited on May 2, 2010 at 5:20 PM. Reason : well, yeah, none of them would be new, or probably even less than 5 years old.]
