Everclear is playing speedstreet on the 28th. anyone that lives around Charlotte knows how fucking crowded it is for speed street and that's why most of the time i avoid the uptown area around that time. but it might be worth it this year to see them..

I saw Gavin Degraw at Speedstreet last year. It wasn't that bad crowded actually. I mean just as long as you're in a mood where you know that you don't need to be in a rush to do things. Give you're self plenty of time to find parking and walk around.

El Borracho i remember one time i went uptown to meet my dad for lunch at nix. i was walking up at trade and tryon when this hobo guy went marching out and doing the Hitler salute to all the statues at that corner.then just last month me and my gf were uptown eating at rock bottom when a hobo and a hotdog vender got in a fist fight.

i love the hobo uptown that thinks he is in the c.i.a and goes around telling "cia secrets" to the people passing by..
