Srsly though I don't know which way is wright or wrong. The first time I hang them up I do hook right/front of shirt facing right, because when I go into my closet my clothes are on the right and I want to see the front of the shirt. But if it's a shirt I can wear more than once (ie if I wore an undershirt and didn't get it stained/badly wrinkled) I flip it around on the hanger once I've worn it once to denote that it should be washed after that wearing, no matter what.
