It's been around for over 20 years but now Disney Parks' Star Tours attraction is going the way of the first Death Star. And the second. But fear not, younglings, for a new Star Wars theme-park attraction will be taking its place.

In 2011, a re-imagined version of the ride will be born from the cosmic dust of Star Tours. But first, an event called Last Tour to Endor will offer "fans the opportunity to attend an out of-this-world, first-of-its-kind decommissioning party before Star Tours launches its final flights."

On August 14 from 8:00pm to 1:00am at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Last Tour to Endor will take place as a tie-in to Star Wars Celebration V, the official Lucasfilm annual convention.
