Don't screw around with that - get some hardcore bug spray... there's some really good stuff at REI but I can't remember the name. It's in a green/yellow bottle - you spray it on your clothes.

get bite blocker...it's made with undecanone, a chemical found in wild tomatoes and rue, and was (mostly) developed by an etymology professor here at ncsu

as effective as 15% DEET and non-toxic (so you can use it on pets and kids)...also, it doesn't bother my skin like DEET does
