Cinco de Mayo has to be the stupidest fucking holiday in existance. It's a celebration of a bunch of Mexicans who defaulted on their international loans and then subsequently were victorious against the French army who came to collect. This victory was followed up a year later by the French steamrolling into Mexico and pummeling everything in their path, chalking up the first and only French Military victory in which the French weren't being led by the United States or a schizophrenic teenage girl.

By that measure, any displaying of the Mexican flag or mention of Cinco de Mayo would also be considered disruptive and therefore should be banned. It's obviously causing undue distress between the Latino and Caucasian populations in the school.
