I am very much in favor of a good thunderstorm.

Ideally, I want the city shut down for a week. Chaos in the streets. Floodwaters everywhere.

I guess it would probably be less fun in reality but in my mind it sounds awesome.

^yea maybe not that bad, but a good lawn-soaking with minor flooding from runoff and definitely coupled up with some near-foundation rattling thunder/lightning would be awesome.

However it would make me miss my hammock where I used to watch these things from the back deck.
