what doctor though? i have no idea where to start - my brother had adhd and it was so pronounced i got overlooked as normal, but now that i am old the short attention span sucks.

Psychiatric "medicine" is nothing more than mental cosmetics. Wanting to concentrate better is not a disease -- people should be able to buy drugs as they please, and without "permission" from a doctor or federal agency.
