hahahah mine too! Peaches is a drooler, and if you're actively petting her it's even worse.

is your cat morbidly obese by any chance? i always thought she drooled because she was so fat that she couldn't breathe properly without leaving her mouth open just a bit

I recently found out my 10 month old kitten does this. I found a little wet spot on the sheets the other day where his face was.

Cutie.

ahaha funny you mention that.

she is mentally handicapped from malnutrition.
she doesnt always land on her feet and she gets confused really easily.

she's a hell of a hunter though.

we like to think of her as a savant.

The dog does all the time.

My parent's cat will drool if she is really happy and you are petting her. Neither of the two cats I have will.

yes. Wickett (a cat) drools like crazy when you pet her and she's happy.

Sabrina (ze dog) drools while she watches us eat (yes we've fed her from the table) depending on what we're eating. the pot roast we had the other day brought on epic amounts of drool. she also drools when we go to the dog park as a defense mechanism.

my outdoor cat drools when i pet him. he doesn't do it for anybody else. he's half siamese, very skinny, and cross-eyed. he doesn't have any mental impairments though.

One of my old roommate's cats (the one in my gallery) has had drooling problems on and off. She really likes rubbing her face up on yours (especially if you're a guy who hasn't shaved in a couple days), and that is how I discovered the drooling problem

I had a friend whose boxer slung slobber all over the walls every time it went up or down the stairs. After a couple of years they gave up on trying to clean it. It was nas-fucking-ty.

All these animals would have to be outside only for me.

My parents cats drool because they've been fed on wet food their entire lives and have dental problems because of it.

One cat out of four eats dry food and he doesn't drool at all.

None of them used to but once they got older they started to. Anyone else see a similar pattern?

i've never seen a cat drool, but our dog gets real bad with it. i've learned not to walk around the house barefoot or with just socks on.

Diet is hardly ever the problem with dental disease. It's genetics. Either way, dental problems are fixed with regular dental cleanings and extractions (especially with cats) as needed.
