only thing is buffering during movies on slow connections, so you may want to let the buffer gain some time before starting the movie on a slow connection.

I'm watching Brotherhood Season 2 in HD and it looks great. I'm guessing it's in 720p; surround sound and captions are coming next.

no, it was never in 720p until now

They aren't all in HD. And I have been able to watch in HD over my Xbox360 or PS3 for a long time. This is HD streaming to the PC they are rolling out.

I know almost nothing about Netflix Instant Watch.

Except for:

I stayed with my sister and brother in law a couple of months ago, and was able to watch a shit ton of stuff on their xbox 360 off this and it was almost all in HD.

I've been noticing about a 1/4 of listed "HD Streaming" do not launch the HD button and aren't in HD.

Between the crashing and this, seems like Netflix and/or Microsoft needs to put more time into Silverlight.
