going to mexico for the rest of the summer and i'm wondering if sprint data is really free in mexico and will my phone work. on the site it looks like it says 99c/min and "free trial omed" for data. Sounds confusing and I don't know whats going on.

I'm not at all experienced in this, but I've always been told to buy a sim card in the country for which you are using the phone or you'll get charged out the ass.No idea of Sprint's policy, however

if you have a phone with the bands in it (like a BB Tour) you can signup for international data and roaming before you leave and cut it off when you get back. It covered everything except voice for like $60/month (prorated to the day). Voice was $1.29/minute from Israel. However still had unlimited data, text, and email - which meant skype and email kept contact pretty easily.
