Me and TheBullDoza need to get between these two places in the cheapest possible way. Cortland is about 30 miles south of Syracuse on I-81. Anyone familiar with New York state? I figure my options are Amtrak or Greyhound, but aren't there other trains/buses in the state? I'm looking around online but it's been really hard to find this out. Also Amtrak only stops in Syracuse so that's a pain in the butt. ]

Amtrak and Greyhound are both about $110 for round trip.I feel like Amtrak is more likely to get delayed, but Greyhound is more likely to smell like urine.

You can take the Megabus from Penn Station to Syracuse for like $33 on the way there and like $28 for the return triphttp://us.megabus.com/Probably less if you book further in advanceRental cars can also be as cheap as like $40 per day after fees and such - maybe less
