Right up your ass!
8/13/2010 5:36:07 PM
clearly if you threw a stone fast enough to break the speed of light, the earth's gravity would not be sufficient to keep the stone going around it.
8/13/2010 5:36:49 PM
WHAT THE HELL IS A MIN? A MINUTE? THAT MAKES NO SENSE IN THIS CONTEXT.
8/13/2010 5:37:31 PM
it would take off
8/13/2010 5:38:35 PM
it would break the treadmill

Actually, this interests me. What if you threw a very small projectile straight up very fast. Would it land slightly too your west as the earth moves underneath it?

^watOkay fine, the real question is basically how fast would i have to fly to get to California at the same time i left in NC? and why can't i keep going that fast all the way around the earth i'm pretty sure thats not faster than the speed of light though i don't feel like doing conversionsits what like ~3000 miles?so say (1000 miles) / (1 hours) = 447.04 m / sif i were go to that fast for 24 hours east what time would it be for me when i got all the way around?I'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message./]

(400 751.16 kilometers) / (24 hours) = 4 638.32361 m / scircumference of the earth4.6k isn't even close to cI'm AstralAdvent and i approved this message.
