if i was blinging i'd only buy cheese from the fancy section of the grocery store.or from the fresh marketbut you go there and pick up like a 1 inch piece of cheese that is $15. i want to, but that is too much for me. maybe when i'm rich and famous.

Have you ever made Raclette? You should try it some time.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raclette
10/18/2010 7:57:41 AM
Raclette is really popular here. I wanna try it but I don't want to invest in the stuff unless I know I like it. Basically you need a special electric grill thing to heat the cheese and the scrapers. And a giant wedge of raclette.

I am on a goat cheese kick. I just got some at HT yesterday.

Who doesn't love cheese?Asian people apparently
10/18/2010 3:48:36 PM
I'm Asian and I have a neutral disposition towards cheese. I do not hate it, nor do I love it. But if the opportunity presented it self of free cheese and gourmet crackers, I will eat.
10/18/2010 3:56:35 PM
I'm not saying all asians hate cheese but a much larger percentage of asians are lactose intolerant compared to other ethnicities. Also you almost never see cheese in asian recipes/dishes.

I would believe our diet is more or less based on what food our culture can get easily, like rice; not a lot of cows in the country side of China. Unless you think you can make cheese from cat or dog milk... But that's like

^ You can make cheese from a dog or cat milk. But I wouldn't recommend it.

They have plenty of water buffaloes (bubalus bubalis) though, and they make perfectly acceptable cheese.
