8/22/2010 5:57:06 PM
i bring leftovers when we don't cook at worki usually have a granola bar and/or some fruit for breakfast[Edited on August 22, 2010 at 5:58 PM. Reason : those oats and honey nature valley things are good]
8/22/2010 5:58:18 PM
I go home and make lunch. Perk of living less than 2 miles from work.
8/22/2010 6:02:21 PM
My bosses buy my lunch every day, and I get to pick the restaurant. It's nice.
8/22/2010 6:08:50 PM
it sucks working 23 miles away from home.
8/22/2010 6:09:58 PM
I bring my lunch to work every day. I usually have bagels with peanut butter and juice and a yogurt for breakfast. Sometimes a granola bar instead of the bagels.
8/22/2010 6:17:36 PM
I have something small for breakfast with the kids before I leave in the morning, and I bring lunch every day.My wife got it down to below a buck a day for my lunch, depending on what was in it.
8/22/2010 6:29:20 PM
8/22/2010 6:30:25 PM
lean cuisines are currently my lunchbreakfast is cereal.
8/22/2010 6:34:49 PM
Breakfast, I'll bring an apple, milk cream cheese, and bagel into the office. read my morning emails while eating that.lunch, sometimes I'll bring it in (leftovers). But I usually just run to the deli across the business park and get a sammich, chips, and drink there.
8/22/2010 6:35:14 PM
i eat cereal everyday for lunchi have 2 cups of coffee and 4 bottles of water for breakfast
8/22/2010 6:36:34 PM
8/22/2010 6:45:50 PM
i almost always take my lunch to work (unless they're feeding me at some meeting or whatnot). probably not under $1 per lunch, but certainly under $2.and breakfast, i'll eat a bowl of cereal or oatmeal before going to work.
8/22/2010 7:03:14 PM
I bring my lunch to campus. :X It's always extra of whatever I cooked the night before.Breakfast is either Grapenuts or a slice of olive-herb bread with some cheddar.
8/22/2010 7:08:20 PM
I take mine, and bring pop-tarts for breakfast. Fortunately for me, I've always preferred them un-heated, right out of the package. Lunch is always a sandwich of some sort, soda, chips, and a yogurt or cookies. Pretty cheap, and varies slightly from week to week depending on what the deli counter has on sale.
8/22/2010 7:13:56 PM
I live where I work so I just walk upstairs and make a sandwich.
8/22/2010 7:15:08 PM
I never bring lunch to work. I need the mental health of getting out of the office for 15-60 minutes a day.
8/22/2010 7:28:10 PM
If I don't skip breakfast, it's usually granola bars & a Coke. Lunch'll be leftovers, a sandwich, or soup if I feel really lazy.
8/22/2010 7:29:48 PM
I work from home a lot. It's a hard trek to the kitchen.
8/22/2010 7:33:13 PM
sometimes I think that I couldn't possibly hate kiljadn any more.but he never lets me down... he always finds a new way to make me hate himyeah, I mad
8/22/2010 7:34:55 PM
I used to go out for lunch every day, but i got sick of chick-fil-a every day. The past couple of months I've been bringing my lunch 4 out of 5 days. Usually its a sandwich, small salad, some sort of fruit and water from the water cooler at work. I either skip breakfast or have a granola bar around 10:00am if I'm starting to get hungry. The thing that sucks is my dinner often closely resembles my lunch.
8/22/2010 7:39:07 PM
well if it makes you happy, EMCE, I ain't exactly swimmin in dough right now
8/22/2010 7:46:16 PM
I do. Lunch for me is usually either leftovers (we cook dinner at home a lot) or a sandwich, accompanied by some combination of a salad/fruit/yogurt/vegetables/chips/dessert. I try to pack my breakfast too, as getting that at work got expensive, and I'm more productive when I don't skip breakfast. I usually bring coffee in a large travel mug since I have a ~25 minute drive, then when I get to work I'll eat a granola bar, or cereal (bring a small tupperware with milk in it and a bag of cereal, combine and serve). Sometimes if we've made pancakes, a frittata, biscuits, or something similar on Sunday and we have leftovers, I bring that for my Monday breakfast.
8/22/2010 7:47:43 PM
awww, I was just kidding though, kiljadn It's just weird that in my last position, I COULD work from home almost as much as I wanted to. But the need to physically go to our labs, test courses, etc... pretty much guaranteed that I had to be on campus almost every day. Now, I no longer have a need to be in the labs THAT much... but since I'm relatively new at this facility, my manager wants me not to work at home (at least for a little while).p.s., let me know if I can help out in any way. I can keep my eyes and ears open for you. I'd be willing to give you a rec. too]
8/22/2010 7:49:30 PM
IMO, I think you are the man if you bring your lunch everyday! Disciplined people are HAWT!
8/22/2010 7:49:37 PM
^^ Thanks bro, I appreciate it.
8/22/2010 7:58:28 PM
I take my lunch to work 4 days a week and eat out with my team on Wednesdays. Usually for breakfast I eat a 2 or 3 egg omelet in a tortilla wrap so I can eat it in the car on the way. (25 min commute each way)
8/22/2010 8:01:45 PM
I used to go out for lunch everyday. Then I got promoted and none of my colleagues I used to go out to lunch with wanted me to go to lunch with them everyday like before. Now they only invite me about once or twice a week (they still like me though ). At the same time I got married and my wife prepares my lunch everyday. For breakfast I take cereal bars or a toast, etc.Eating out gets old pretty soon though![Edited on August 22, 2010 at 8:20 PM. Reason : a]

I need to find a freakin' wife so she will make my lunch for me I need to stop fooling around with these scallywag hoes
8/22/2010 8:22:11 PM
I have to be at work early everyday (7am) so I pack everything the night before so i can just grab and go. Breakfast varies but recently has been a slice of gluten free bread with some peanut butter on it. Either a cup or coffee or green tea with it. Lunch is sometimes leftovers or a salad. Whatever I have around the house usually works.

8/22/2010 8:28:15 PM
I bring my lunch sometimes. Usually 1 week I bring it and the other week I don't.As far as bfast...I try to bring Oatmeal w/ Dried Blueberries.
8/22/2010 8:41:50 PM
Breakfast: Two Eggs and two pieces of toast, sometimes just toast if Im running late.Lunch: Bean, rice, corn, and spinach burrito. I make all my rice for the week and mix it with a can of black beans and a can of corn and keep it in the fridge. I put that in a tortilla with parmesan cheese, hot sauce and spinach leaves. Then just mirowave it at work.I had to turn to burritos to take some time off from sandwiches which is what I used to bring.
