Everytime I see CNN's homepage, I just want to throw my face into my palm. They have a lot of legitimate things on their webpage that I would expect on a news organization's webpage that is devoted to politics (I'm not here to debate any political bias). Nothing irks me more than turning on the TV and seeing them talking some fucking celebrity or seeing it on their front page. If they want to have a "famous" people's section, fine by me, but I wish they would put all their stupid shit in one section.Anyway. A few examples:Whether he sang it or not, Justin Bieber sure can sell ithttp://www.cnn.com/2010/TECH/web/08/23/justin.bieber.song/index.html?hpt=C2What's bad about this one, is it's filed under CNN's TECH section. Really guys? REALLY?Overdose No Accident, Says Fantasia – 'I Wanted Out'http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20414919,00.html?xid=email-peopledaily-20100823-20414919&hpt=C2While found on CNN's front page, it does at least go to people.com's website. But still. KEEP THE FUCKING GOSSIP BULLSHIT OFF OF A NEWS SITE!Here's from our friends at Fox News:'Fuming' Lohan Wants Apology From Courthttp://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2010/08/23/exclusive-fuming-lindsay-lohan-wants-apology-courts-cocaine-claims-source-says/At least this is filed under "Entertainment," but get this bullshit off of a front page. Who fucking cares about this dumb cunt? Maybe a grave injustice was done to her, but her jail time wasn't served in vain, as it was punishment for hogging up the front page of news websites, with your inane drama. And of course on Fox News, if you scroll down, you can find a little section devoted to entertainment news. This doesn't bother me, as it's not on the top of the page, which is the first thing people see.And MSNBC had the same Fantasia story as CNN, although it's in small little letters at the top of the page, it's still at the top of the page. Simply stupid.

I agree. There should be more transparency and honest disclosure as to what's presented as news versus what's presented as entertainment.I, for one, loathe [commercial] sports. That is not news.

Just head over to http://www.nydailynews.com where you will find: not news about New York but about the Chinese traffic jam
8/23/2010 1:04:27 PM
^ That is retarded. Maybe they're trying to remind New Yorkers how good they have it?
8/23/2010 1:11:48 PM
8/23/2010 1:14:14 PM
^ Yeah, I read it. Is slowing down a song by 800% REALLY deserving of being in a tech section? Wait... Is it really news at all?
8/23/2010 1:16:23 PM
Shit's been everywhere the past weekI'd say it's news
8/23/2010 1:17:58 PM
"news" is the plural of "new"
8/23/2010 1:20:50 PM
merbig, indy, hambo in one threadNo wayI'm not walking into the fucking bear caveL8R
8/23/2010 1:21:56 PM
^^^ What's been everywhere? The 800% slow down? Should ever single remix of every song done by some guy in a basement be featured on CNN's front page? Some dude slowed the song down. I wouldn't even think of thinking about considering it ground breaking.

Hey manYou can read some other shitty news siteOr direct your complaints to CNNOr just huff and puff here like some one gives a fuck
8/23/2010 1:37:26 PM
I'll just huff and puff like someone gives a fuck. That's what 50% of the threads in chit chat consist of anyway.
